Larry Forgard Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Larry Forgard teaches in college programs and conducts workshops in North Carolina
SARASOTA, FL, July 21, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Larry Forgard, Instructor, Artist for Ringling College of Art and Design, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in graphic design.
With 22 years of experience as an instructor and artist for Ringling College of Art and Design, Mr. Forgard specializes in figurative and abstract paintings. He is responsible for teaching, painting and exhibiting his work in galleries. Many cities have galleries that have represented his paintings, including Chicago, IL, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, GA and Sarasota, Boca Raton and Captiva, FL.
Having always been interested in art, Mr. Forgard began his career in 1964 as a graphic designer and art director. He has juried many shows, been awarded top honors in painting competitions and partaken in many lectures and television interviews concerning his career and creativity. He attributes his success to his experiences as an instructor and ability to learn from his students. Mr. Forgard completed coursework at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Illinois in 1962 and the American Academy of Art in 1964. In the future, he hopes to have more of his paintings exhibited in galleries.
