Eddye James Royal Jr. Served in the U.S. Military as an IT Specialist for 21 Years before Joining HP

DALLAS, TX, December 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Eddye James Royal Jr., System Administrator and Director for the Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in information technology.

Eddie James Royal Jr. has 20 years of experience in IT. His area of expertise is quality control management, which he applies to manage computer operations in call centers, route calls, change passwords, install software and hardware, conduct training and research, and troubleshoot computers. As a system administrator and security certified network specialist, Mr. Royal is geared towards the development, installation and configuration of computer hardware. He is also involved in application installations and upgrades. Mr. Royal assisted in the global migration of more than 2,000 employees from multiple platforms to the Vantive call-tracking system, which ran across the division of EDS Technologies Pvt. Ltd. before merging with Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.

Prior to joining Hewlett-Packard, Mr. Royal worked as a communication administrator and computer specialist for the U.S. Army for 21 years. He received a Good Conduct Medal from the U.S. Army in 1992 and a VII Corps Artillery Desert Storm Desert Shield in 1991. He attributes his success to his determination, business savvy, openness to new ideas, and ability to learn from his mistakes. In the near future, Mr. Royal intends to complete a master's degree and begin pursuing a Ph.D.

Mr. Royal is pursuing a master's degree in information technology at Amberton University, from which he earned a bachelor of science in information systems in 1997. In 1988, he received an associate degree in information systems from Eastfield College.
